His series the silence in Munich plays with powerful mood in silence. The photographs feature the grandeur of the architecture and buildings and humans in a masterful balance of light and scale. He uses natural light to capture all the images. One can make out the dynamic relation between light and shadows in his work. Also featuring people meant that his timing had to be perfect, to capture the gestures , features and expressions of people.

His compositions are very tight and the atmosphere is that of contemplation. I have never seen any similar street photography pieces to his as yet.
